University Taster Event- 22nd of May 2024

If you are 21 or over, don't have traditional university entry qualifications, and are interested in finding out about studying at university, join us at our FREE taster event on the 22nd of May 2024, 10am - 1:30pm.

What is it? 
This event will feature short introductory talks covering subjects such as funding your studies, support for mature students, and how to apply for a course. This will be followed by a selection of subject taster sessions and activities, which will give an insight into what it's like to study at University.

A free lunch will be provided, followed by an optional tour of the University campus led by current mature students. 

During the event staff and current students from the Department for Lifelong Learning will be available to answer any questions you have about studying as a mature student at the University of Sheffield

Who is it for? 
This is a free event for anyone 21 or over, without traditional university entry qualifications, who would like to find out more about studying at the University of Sheffield. No prior knowledge or experience of higher education is required.

When is it? 

Wednesday 22nd of May 2024, 10am until 1:30pm.

Event programme:

Our specific event programme is yet to be confirmed but the day will involve a series of short talks and taster sessions.
