Description

In our upcoming Bright Minds webinar, we'll delve into the relationship between genetics and motor neurone disease (MND). This fatal illness impacts up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any given time, with a lifetime risk of MND development estimated at up to 1 in 300.

MND, affecting the brain and spinal cord, disrupts nerve function crucial for movement, leading to muscle paralysis. Currently, there is no cure for this debilitating condition.

Join this talk to explore how genetic discoveries have helped identify new methods of combating MND.
