BA Philosophy (part time)

Study on our Philosophy BA programme as a part-time student. You study alongside your fellow students in the Department of Philosophy but spread your module choices out over 6 years.

Apply for our part-time undergraduate programme.

All of our masters programmes are also available to study part time.

Courses with foundation years

Foundation year courses are integrated programmes for students with non-standard entry qualifications, and for mature learners who have been out of formal education for an extended period of time. You study on a Foundation Year with our colleagues in the Department for Lifelong Learning and, upon completion with the required results for progression, you move to the Department of Philosophy to study on our single honours Philosophy BA or Philosophy, Religion and Ethics BA programme. If you're taking one of our dual courses with Foundation Year, you'll move to the Department of Philosophy and the dual department - EnglishHistory or Politics - after your Foundation Year.
