Description

Sonia Bannister

MST's Executive Secretary, Sonia Bannister, did the bulk of the coordinating and organizing for the event. Here she reviews some last-minute details with Frank.

Alberto Santa Maria and Dave Sobotka

Alberto Santa Maria, MST's Computer Technician, occupied the work station next to Norm's. Because of Alberto's expertise in computers and fine sense of humor, he and Norm hit it off quite well. With Alberto stands his boss, MST's Controller/MIS Dave Sobotka, who also enjoys a good laugh.

Richard Burton

Richard Burton, MST's Director of Facilities and Maintenance, came to MST eight years ago after a career in the U.S. Army. He has charge of the maintenance of all of MST's vehicles and property.

Mike Hernandez and son

Mike Hernandez, MST's Director of Operations, began working with MST over twenty years ago as a coach operator. He now oversees the bus and road supervision of the agency. His son operated the video equipment for the event.

Chris Meharg and Karen Hunting

Chris Meharg, one of MST's fine Coach Operators, converses with Karen Hunting, MST's Marketing Manager.

Maria Amezquita

Maria Amezquita, MST's Senior Customer Service Representative, brought special life to the party. Not only did her upbeat personality add to the festivities, but her contribution as emcee "Vanna Brown" during the awards presentations kept a smile on everyone's faces.

Gerri Hammack and Yvonne

Gerri Hammack, MST's Customer Service/Marketing Assistant, stays very busy. Two work stations down from Norm, she fields customer service calls, complaints, ticket and pass sales and distribution, promotional materials, and more. Here she is visiting with Yvonne before dinner.

Deb Daniels

Probably our best inside photo of the evening was of MST Transit Supervisor Deb Daniels. She's as nice as she is pretty!

Rick Hernandez and Nancy Amador

One of the people that keeps our fleet on the road, Mechanic Rick "Slick" Hernandez, enjoys the company of another MST Transit Supervisor, Nancy Amador.

DeEtta Nicely

One of the non-MST people in attendance was DeEtta Nicely of the Transportation Agency of Monterey County. Norm worked with DeEtta in the transfer of vehicles from TAMC/Monterey County to MST as part of the transfer of the RIDES program from County operation to an MST function.

Marti Gottfried

Marti Gottfried, MST's Human Resources Manager, enjoys a laugh with Frank, Ed, and another gentleman.

Karleen Russell and Gretchen Faus

Two more of MST's finest: Karleen Russell, Accounting Assistant, and Gretchen Faus, Planning Assistant, mingle in with the crowd.

Ben Newman, Tommy Shelton, and Ed Ortiz

Transit Superintendent Ben Newman observes while Parts Clerk Tommy Shelton and Maintenance Supervisor Ed Ortiz discuss some important business.

Ken Smith and Ken Ogletree

Transit Supervisor Ken Smith has a drink with Coach Operator Ken Ogletree. Unfortunately, we couldn't talk Ken-Ken into doing a Can-Can for us.

Max Hamilton and Allen Walker

Max Hamilton keeps the fareboxes and other electronic equipment operational for MST. Also posing for the camera is Transit Supervisor Allen Walker.

Margit Skipper

Margit Skipper keeps MST supplied with the parts the mechanics need to keep the vehicles on the road. Yvonne and Margit notice something interesting in another part of the room.

Dave Pratt

MST's Facilities Manager, Dave Pratt, came to the party with an attractive friend.
