Dedication marker to the Cowell park (small)

This plaque gives an introduction to the display.

Horseback riders (small)

Going from the outside edge, this portion covers the period of time from the felling of the tree (1934) to about 1769.

Redwoods (small)

Continuing toward the center of the trunk, this portion's labels takes us back to about 1300.

Redwood tree rings (small)

This third section shows rings back to about 800.

Red wood (small)

Finally we see dates down to the birth of Christ with several rings yet to go to the time when this tree first began its life.
