Redding, California

Redding, CA, received the honor of our initial visit. The trip from Medford, OR, to Redding took about three hours and we arrived there on Saturday evening, November 20, 1999. On Monday we hit I-5 headed south toward Apple Valley, CA.

Sue & Manny Macias (small)

We had a very enjoyable visit with a couple of special friends, Sue and Manny Macias. We played several games of spades and they tried to teach us how to play double-deck pinochle with limited success.

Shasta Dam (small)

On Sunday we rode the motorcycle to Shasta Dam and took a very enjoyable and informative tour of the facility.
